About me.
Greetings. My name is Jonathan Kenney, and I am studying Computer Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. I am from here in Cincinnati born and raised in the Mason and West Chester areas. My passion for technology originates from countless daydreams as a child to be an inventor. I did not have much grasp on what this meant when I was so young, but I liked the idea of making cool new things from my imagination. This over the years has evolved into a deep interest and passion for artificial intelligence, robotics, devices, and computing at large.
To accompany my inquiry into various STEM topics in high school, I have always been fond of writing, playing, and listening to music. I play horn and love listening to a variety of music; soundtrack music in particular has always appealed to me. I always say if I could be anything then I would be the next Hans Zimmer or Jeremy Soule. Regardless of my decision to prioritize my love of technology, writing and playing music will always hold a special place in my heart and in my schedule.
Over my time so far at UC, the opportunity to learn and participate in various fields has further honed where I see myself going. It is comforting to take classes and solidify this as my true passion, and then to participate in my research and see this passion come to fruition in results. Going forward, I hope to further discover my path and learn about as much in the computing field as I can in order to hone the direction I would like to take.
